There is some parking close to the wide sandy beach which is safe for bathing and ideal for children. No currents but a large sandbank can be cut off at half tide. Dogs not allowed between Easter and 1st October.

This old world corner has a pebbly beach with safe bathing and seclusion. Car park. Dogs allowed.

Penzance to Long Rock Along from Eastern Green there is a shingle beach turning to sand towards Marazion. Windsurfing schools are open to the public. Car Park. Dogs banned between Easter and 1st October on Long Rock Beach.

A small isolated cove south west of Prussia Cove. Good bathing, but at high tide, the beach becomes covered. There are large flat areas of rock suitable for sunbathing. Dogs allowed.

At Northern end of three miles of sand. Difficult access but this means it is often uncrowded and is a good alternative to the more popular Gwithian and Hayle. Moderate surfing conditions. Lifeguards in attendance.

On the Hayle estuary promontory there is a sandy cove with sand flats on the riverbank. Bathing is safe as long as you can stay away from the river itself which is dangerous. Ample parking. Dogs allowed all year round. Lifeguards in attendance.

On the north side of the Black Cliffs, with moderate surfing conditions and a sandy beach. Excellent for bathing. Large car park. Lifeguards in attendance.

A large sandy beach with safe bathing and almost always very calm conditions. Lovely spot for children and good parking. Dogs not allowed between Easter and 1st October.

Situated at the end of the long sandy beach at Hayle, it offers small coves and stretches of open sand with safe bathing, surfing conditions are generally favourable. It is sheltered on one side from the north east winds. Parking on dunes. Check for dog friendly area's and times throughout the year as they do change.

Isolated stretch of sand almost totally covered at high tide. Moderately safe bathing but take care of the sandbank forming as the tide comes in. Difficult access.
