Lafrowda Festival is an annual event celebrating community arts. A wide range of organisations take part in the festival providing everything from music and comedy to drama and dance. One of the highlights of this event is Lafrowda Day which takes place on the third Saturday in July and offers a host of music ranging from hip hop to harmony and folk to funk not to mention, street performers, stalls, refreshments, bouncy castles and some fantastic processions.
