This is a place to slow down, feel grounded, and truly relax!

We genuinely love owning our caravans on this holiday park. It offers peace, seclusion, and moments we cherish. The location is perfect, with Penzance, beautiful beaches, and both coasts close at hand. The team is exceptional, friendly, and genuinely caring. Each time we arrive, we feel an immediate sense of belonging. We wouldn’t swap this place for anywhere else. Our guests praise the peaceful setting, the beautifully maintained grounds, and the natural beauty of West Cornwall. This is a place to slow down, feel grounded, and truly relax.

Friendly helpful staff

A home from home. Ground maintenance very good. Friendly helpful staff. Close to Marazion, Penzance, Porthleven, Helston, Lizard and Lands end. A pleasant peaceful holiday home. Had a holiday home before and decided to return a few years later as it was lovely.

A great location for visiting other parts of Cornwall.

We purchased our caravan at river valley in 2018 after looking at many sites in Cornwall. The prices and pitch fees here are very competitive and the site is well maintained very peaceful and tranquil. The staff are very friendly and if you have a problem are always on hand to resolve the issue. We use our caravan for all our holidays during the eleven month season. The site is in a great location for visiting other parts of Cornwall. We think it's a lovely place to spend your leisure time at.

Friends and family are repeat visitors to our caravan

We enjoy the peace and quiet of River Valley; the vans avoid repetitive lines and the environment is maintained to a high standard. We chose the park because of the exceptional team—friendly, unobtrusive, skilled, and knowledgeable—and have not been disappointed. Our van is an excellent base for exploring west Cornwall, with brilliant access to north, west, and south coasts as well as The Lizard. Friends and family are repeat visitors to our caravan, which speaks for itself.

A Tranquil and Rural Oasis

After owning a van at River Valley for more than 10 years, we can say that the site is exactly what it says it says on the tin. A tranquil and rural oasis covering acres of valley of the River Hayle. The well spread out layout is far superior to other Cornish caravan parks, which are often just row after row of vans lined up next to each other. Sure, it's a little isolated and you have to get in the car to go anywhere but if you want a quiet haven, ideally located to access all of South West Cornwall, and don't want to have to pay unnecessarily for things like club houses, bars, pools etc, then River Valley Country Park is for you.

Utter peace and quiet

This was the first park we looked at, set in a lovely valley well off the road. We chose 13 Yellow for the utter peace and quiet, with no pool, no bar, no children’s playground. We were able to bring my dog, with a lovely dog field at the back of the park, and now bring our 3 cats who love the site. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The setting is wonderful, with trees all around, apples, blackberries, and lots of birds. We had some lovely soirées in the car park in Yellow. There is a library in the phone box to swap your books. We recommend River Valley Country Park.

The site retains its peace and tranquillity.

We chose River Valley Country Park because of our long-standing association with the site and the area. The site has developed from a touring to a static park, but retains its peace and tranquillity. The location is ideal for walking the coastal paths in the South West, with over 100 miles of accessible coastline within 20 miles. Our 6 berth static caravan means we can share it with our little family. Living in East Lancashire, we visit less regularly but for longer periods. River Valley works well for us and our family.

We fell in love with the park as soon as we visited it

We have owned a caravan at River Valley for just over a year. We were looking for a base from which we can be near our grandchildren. We fell in love with the park as soon as we visited it. It is very peaceful and quiet; the grounds are extremely well maintained but managed in such a way that flora and fauna flourish all around the park. It really is a haven for wildlife. The team live on site and it really is a family affair which makes you feel at home and it’s obvious that they care about the park. As soon as you drive into River Valley, you feel relaxed and we can’t recommend it enough. We hope to be there for many years to come.

River Valley is in a lovely location—very quiet

I bought my static caravan five years ago and really enjoy the park and the freedom to come and go. River Valley is in a lovely location—very quiet—and I enjoy sitting on the decking listening to the birds and the gentle sound of the river. The grounds are well looked after, with a few social events during the year. It’s easy to get to Penzance, Marazion, and many other places, with a bus stop at the entrance and the St Erth station for a beautiful train ride to St Ives. The management team are on hand to help with any issues. I love the freedom the van gives—Cornwall is there when you want to visit, you can leave items all year, and it’s a paw friendly park with plenty of walks nearby. There’s even a regular summer visit from a fish and chip van. So far I’m enjoying my time at River Valley.
