Park Facilities

At River Valley we pride ourselves on being able to provide a relaxing and peaceful setting where you can fully unwind and escape the stress of modern day living. We have been awarded a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and actively work to protect and enhance the parks natural wildlife. We welcome well behaved dogs and we have a designated dog walking area where they can stretch their legs.

Tourist information can be found in our Reception and our staff are always happy to recommend days out for you and your family. We also have a small shop that stocks everyday items such as bread and milk and there is also a Laundry Room. Free Wifi is available for leisure use throughout the park. 

The Local Area

River Valley is ideally situated with easy access to the fantastic beaches that both the north and south of Cornwall has to offer, here you can surf, swim and build sandcastles to your heart“s content. From our four star holiday park, you can visit picturesque harbour villages, historic towns and gardens and dine at some of the best restaurants in the country. 

Enjoy beautiful coastal walks, gallop by horseback along the golden sands, catch a show at one of the open air theatres or simply watch the sunset over the breathtaking coastline. The list is endless.

Great Places to Eat Out

Cornwall is well known for its delicious Cornish pasties, cream teas and fish and chips but that“s not all you can expect to eat when dining out in this fantastic part of the country.

You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to looking for somewhere spectacular to eat as Cornwall is literally bursting with seaside cafes, country pubs and seafood restaurants. You can sample freshly caught local fish and shellfish, amazing home cooked food using locally sourced produce, artisan cheeses and delicious ice creams.

M5 to Junction 27, pick up the A361 to Barnstaple. On the outskirts of Barnstaple head for A39 Bideford/Bude road. Follow the road until you go over the Torridge Bridge, at the roundabout go straight on, after approximately 0.25 miles, turn right for Wesward Ho! Follow road for 1 mile, down Stanwell Hill. Turn left at the bottom of the hill & Beachside Holiday Park is 50yds on right

M5 to Junction 27, pick up the A361 to Barnstaple. On the outskirts of Barnstaple head for A39 Bideford/Bude road. Follow the road until you go over the Torridge bridge, at the roundabout head for Westward Ho! After passing the Westward Ho! sign, take the second turning on the right which is Beach road, drive to the bottom, turn right and we are 50 yards on the left.
